Some Highlights in Studio Policy

  • Instrument Requirement: All students must have regular access to an acoustic (non-electric) piano that is properly maintained and tuned 1–2 times per year.

  • Lesson Frequency: Each student receives approximately 44–45 lessons per teaching year, depending on the day of the week their lessons fall on.

  • Cancellations:

    • Summer: Up to four lessons may be canceled without penalty.

    • School Year: Up to two lessons may be canceled with at least 24-hour notice and will qualify for a makeup or credit.
